About the event
We are happy to finally be able to share the dates of our future workshops in South Africa. Come join us for a deep dive into the innermost corners of your own being in a safe set and setting. It is an opportunity to explore parts of yourself, relationships, the world around you and beyond with the help of our fungi allies.Our therapeutic protocol includes aspects of Amazonian shamanism, Holotropic Breathwork, transpersonal psychology, and psychedelic-assisted therapies. The safety of participants is of utmost importance with an emphasis on ethical care.If you are interested in attending please contact us. Carlos Hernandez, MA
Carlos Hernandez is a licensed transpersonal psychotherapist with more than 14 years of experience working with non-ordinary states of consciousness in therapeutic settings. His work is inspired by his love of God and nature. Carlos’ work could be summarized as the integration of Amazonian traditional healing and Transpersonal psychology. Elizma Bellingan, MA
(Elizma will only be joining to some sessions depending on her availability) Elizma is a licensed psychologist that started her training in 2001 at the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town, South Africa, and completed her studies with a master ́s degree in Somatic psychology at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, USA in 2009. Elizma´s love of plants and nature expanded and solidified when after her graduation in 2009 she spent time in the amazon forest in Peru learning about traditional healing with plants, including ayahuasca. She has a passion for bridging the gap between traditional healing methods and western psychological protocols of healing.She has clinical experience within the field of addictions, emergency psychiatric services, psychotherapy and the therapeutic use of non-ordinary states of consciousness.
