DarPan will offer a sacred container and an opportunity to reconnect with nature and our shared essence in divine concert with this magical land, we create spaces for guests to explore stillness; to listen, heal, share in authenticity and to celebrate our collective awakening in the company of like-minded tribe.
Planet Xancara is situated on the west coast of South Africa and is a magnificent haven with lovingly maintained living areas surrounded by ancient escarpment. Among so many others, one of the most potent gifts this breathtaking land has to offer is the opportunity for disconnect from the outside world; to rest, reset and deeply reconnect with the infinite wisdom of our beloved Mother Nature.
Darpan is a singer, multi-instrumentalist and neo-shaman. He travels extensively around the world delivering concerts, sound healing seminars and shamanic retreats. He is a living synthesis of his teachings and is an inspirational speaker and gifted musician.
He was born in the Netherlands and was raised and educated in Australia. He graduated from Flinders University with a B.A (Hons) majoring in Psychology and the Dramatic Arts. He spent several years studying the art of meditation in India with the enlightened mystic Osho, and later lived and worked with various shamans and healers in Brazil, Ecuador and Peru.
Further studies include Transpersonal Psychology and the teachings of Dr. Stanislav Grof. He is also deeply influenced by Tibetan Bhuddist and Taoist philosophy.
He has produced several CD’s of original music. These include “Body of Light”, “Fly Away”, “Temple of Glowing Sound” and now, “LoveLight”.
